​ A cadet should never turn down any opprotunity given to them. Every opprotunity is a chance to show off your knowledge and can potentially lead you into something you really enjoy. 

Take direction and be prepared. JROTC will never set you up for failure. You as a cadet must take the iniative to study, come prepared, and participate in the class. Take direction and do what you're told because in the end your leadership is looking out for your welfare.

Participate. JROTC can be much more than a class if you let it. There are also many extracurricular activities such as Colorguard, Raiders, Marksmanship, Drill, and Exhibition.

Be respectful. Always give your leadership and your fellow cadets they deserve. The Tornado Battalion is a family and we look out for each other as such.
